This restaurant is the country companion to Atul Kochars’ Michelin-starred Benares in Mayfair. Some of you may have already dined at Vatika, and will already know it is a real dining experience.
About Atul Kochar.
Atul is considered one of London’s top chefs, revered for his masterful use of spicing in creating some of the finest modern Indian dishes with a unique innovative British fusion. He is now a permanent fixture on the likes of Saturday Kitchen and Market Kitchen, where he regularly showcases his most extravagant recipes. The inspired chef never misses a chance to return to his homeland to research new recipes and spices from all corners of the country, inspiring his delicately spiced eye catching food, creating a luscious fusion between East and West.

About Head Chef Jitin Joshi
Jitin graduated from the Hotel Management Institute in Ahmedabad where his dream of becoming a chef germinated. He was among the mere 15 students across India who were handpicked to join the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development. Jitin then became Atul Kochar’s anchor at Benares Restaurant in Mayfair, reviving his senses for spices and opening his mind to a new realm of cooking techniques and spicing. Atul then decided Jitin would be the perfect head chef for Vatika.
Vatika is closed on Monday and Tuesday, but we hope that some of our professional members will still be able to join us.
